What you can do

• Article layout: edit Markdown, preview long-form or paginated pages, and adjust styles, images and typography.
• WeChat publishing: select a WeChat style, copy rich text and verify images and formatting after pasting into the destination editor.
• PNG and PDF: export one or all article pages as PNG. For PDF, use the browser print preview and choose Save as PDF.
• Responsive covers: share a title, subtitle, image and colors across six formats, with per-format overrides, undo and redo.
• Phone workspace: switch between writing, preview and layout using the bottom navigation; language, appearance and palette remain in the header.

Publish from Markdown

1. Open the editor and enter or paste Markdown, or open a local document from the file menu.
2. Switch to Preview and use Layout to adjust article styling and page settings.
3. Open Export to copy WeChat or Word rich text, download PNG, or open print preview to save a PDF.
4. Check the final result on your publishing platform. Copying does not publish to WeChat automatically.

Create six cover formats

1. Open Cover, then 一稿多比例 (multi-ratio design). The entry imports the title, subtitle and an eligible first local raster image, not arbitrary complex layers.
2. Edit shared content in the master design, then select each format to inspect its layout.
3. Use the current-format scope for local overrides. An override can be reset to follow the master design.
4. Download the current PNG or all six formats as ZIP. Save a design JSON separately if you want to continue editing later.

Export dimensions

Layouts adapt to each ratio. Images use focal-point cropping without stretching. Safety guides and selection controls are excluded from exports.

Local processing and saving

Basic article editing, local image handling and cover export run in your browser without uploading documents to Bubufu. Loading the website, remote images or optional online services still makes network requests. Review the data rules of any external image host or online capability you configure.

Article drafts and editable cover designs have different persistence. Multi-ratio designs remain in the current page by default: download the design JSON before refreshing. Inserting a cover adds a flattened PNG, which is not a backup of the editable design. Browser storage is not cross-device cloud backup.

Current beta limits

Responsive-cover images accept PNG, JPEG and WebP up to 10 MB and 24 million decoded pixels. Design JSON is limited to 20 MB and ZIP output to 80 MB. Text overflow or missing images blocks export until corrected.

The responsive cover tool uses deterministic layout. AI poster decomposition, automatic person detection and lossless migration of complex layers are not implemented. Installed fonts may differ across devices. The workspace offers Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English and Japanese; some new beta panels are not fully translated.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account or subscription?

Basic editing and the currently available cover tools are free and do not require sign-in. Beta features remain subject to change.

Can I turn Markdown into PDF?

Yes. Open Print / PDF Preview in the export menu and use the browser’s Save as PDF option. Paper size, margins and background printing depend on the browser settings.

Can I edit just one of the six covers?

Yes. Choose a format and the current-format scope. Changed fields become local overrides and remain intact when the master design changes.

Why is export blocked?

Check for text overflow, missing images or file limits. Shorten text, adjust the text box or hide an unnecessary subtitle before retrying.

Can I continue a design on another device?

Save the design JSON and open it on the other device. There is no automatic cross-device sync, and a PNG cannot restore the full editable design.
